These terms are an agreement between you and The Pet WellBeing Company PTY LTD ("we", "us"), the maker of StatFizz. By using StatFizz you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use StatFizz.

Using StatFizz

You can use StatFizz for your own personal, non-commercial fun and learning. Please don't misuse it: don't try to break, overload or scrape it, get around the free limits, or use it to break the law. We may suspend accounts that do.

Your account

Keep access to your email or Apple or Google account safe, because that is how you sign in. You can delete your account at any time in the app or at statfizz.com/delete-account.

The stats

Every stat card shows where its numbers came from, with a link. Numbers come from public sources such as Wikidata (CC0) and the World Bank (CC BY 4.0), and from sources we checked by hand. We work hard to get them right, but sources can be wrong, out of date or change, so StatFizz is for fun and learning and should not be relied on for important decisions. Check the linked source when it matters.

Sponsored decks are always labelled "Sponsored". They follow the same source rule as every other deck.

Sharing

You are welcome to share StatFizz cards. Please keep the source line on them.

Fizz+

Fizz+ is an optional subscription sold through the App Store or Google Play. The price is shown in the store before you buy. It renews automatically until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings, and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules. Deleting your StatFizz account does not cancel a subscription. We may change what Fizz+ includes; if we take something important away, we will tell you first.

Our content

The StatFizz name, app, card designs and hand-written text belong to us. Data from third-party sources stays under its own licence.

Changes and availability

We may change or stop parts of StatFizz, and update these terms. If a change is important we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use StatFizz after a change means you accept it.

Liability

StatFizz is provided "as is". Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded, including the Australian Consumer Law. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us for StatFizz in the 12 months before the claim.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
